ArtMosaic - Idea & Development
After I got the idea I have used the years to refine, and further develop the ArtMosaic expression.
The mosaic's are made mainly of glass, but then mixed with a very broad variety of materials. They end up being approx. 6 mm in thickness and quite strong . Compared to normal paintings they must be considered stronger in many ways, as they can resist bright light, moisture and low temperatures (winter). They can be used as decoration at the wall or window, inside as well as outside. For outdoor use the frames though must be able to tolerate the conditions too.
Artmosaic - New possibilities and hanging
Artmosaic gives the oppertunities for using different dimentions and new angels in the art. As previous mentioned they are approx. 6 mm in thickmess. Many of them are framed. Pictures without a frame can be placed by using wires or special mirror holders.
If you purchase a handmade Artmosaic piece , it can be framed after your request.
Glass oven - materials
To obtain special and unique materials some of the glass are especially made in a glass oven. Here they are heated to approx. 800C in a 24 hours timeschedule.
Other matrials are stone and a variety of metals. Only imagination set the limits.
